It's true that I may have been one one of the first to begin producing Go content for everyone's learning and enjoyment, but I am not the only one. It would be beyond rude to pretend that I was. In this series of articles I am going to take a look at some other fine Go producers on Youtube you may not be aware of.

Let's start by meeting Andrew Jackson, and not the seventh president of the United States of America. This Andrew Jackson is a rather modest player who picked up Go from his father, a start many of us Go players would have killed for! Unfortunately, he didn't truly take to the game until he entered his college years and has since risen to the ranks of 5Dan. I'm sure it doesn't have to be said that 5Dan is not a rank obtained easily, and that Andrew clearly has a talent for the game that many players envy.

Luckily for us, rather than hoard his knowledge all to himself, he decided to start teaching in Seattle where he's been at it for a little over a year. Although Andrew didn't begin recording his lessons right from the start, he has since taken up doing so on his Youtube channel which you can find here where he further shares his knowledge for free to all of his viewers!  On the left is one of his latest videos where you can watch him teaching one of his classes.
Since Andrew is just starting out his career producing Go content, it goes without saying that his content is limited. Don't let that fool you. He is keen on growing his content and helping an ever growing number of Go players! For the moment he's specializing in teaching single digit kyu players through, at the moment, a variety of targeted go problems.

I have to say, as someone who doesn't concentrate much on go problems, this is a much needed addition the variety Go videos out there, and should be a wonderful resource for any aspiring Go player. Although his videos are aimed at single digit kyus, I should also point out that players who have yet to reach this status should not hesitate to give his videos a try! Since he is lecturing before an audience in Seattle, questions are often answered below this range leaving few, if any, questions you yourself may have when watching his videos.

Feel free to drop by his channel and subscribe to him to be notified of all of his future content!  With people like this starting out on Youtube, becoming stronger has never been easier!
